- EG/EH (5th gen): Honda 4x100 hub bore is 56.1 mm - most generic 4x100 wheels are 56.6/57.1 and need hub-centric rings.
- EJ/EK/MB (6th gen): European 1.4/1.5/1.6 cars are 4x100. The JDM EK9 Type R is 5x114.3 and does not share wheels.
- EU/EP (7th gen): Applies to the normal 1.4/1.6/1.7 models. The EP3 Type R is 5x114.3 with a 64.1 mm bore - its wheels are not interchangeable.
- FK/FN (8th gen): Type R FN2 runs 18-inch (225/40 R18) on the same 5x114.3 / 64.1 fitment.
- FK (9th gen): Standard cars are 5x114.3. The 2015-2016 Type R (FK2) is 5x120 (64.1 bore) - check before buying wheels for a Type R.
- FK7/FK8 (10th gen): Honda switched to 5x120 here - older Civic 5x114.3 wheels do NOT fit. Type R FK8 uses 20-inch (245/30 R20).
- FL (11th gen): 5x120 like the 10th gen; not compatible with pre-2017 Civic wheels.
